Qualifying for the sixth round of the European series of the Ferrari Challenge took place today at France’s Paul Ricard HTTT circuit at Le Castellet, in preparation for Sunday’s races. This is the final round for the F430 Challenge cars in the European branch of the one-make series, prior to the World Finals in Valencia. Competitors in the Italian Series will be in action at Vallelunga over the weekend of 10 October, for their last round before heading to Valencia. (dále…)
Baron and Gai dominant in Budapest at Ferrari Racing Days

The final day of the Ferrari Racing Days in Budapest featured two rounds of racing in the European and Italian series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. In addition there were free practice sessions for the four Ferrari FXX cars, the fourteen 599XX and the fifteen historic single-seaters run by the F1 Clienti Department of Maranello. One of the highlights of the event was the appearance of Scuderia Ferrari’s driver, Felipe Massa, who drove a few laps of the track at the wheel of a Ferrari California and then thrilled the large crowds in the grandstands with a demonstration run in an F60, the car with which Scuderia Ferrari contested the 2009 season. The Ferrari Racing Days got underway today at the Hungaroring circuit, where the F430s entered in the European and Italian championships of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli took to the track for the second round of qualifying and the first of two rounds of races scheduled for this weekend.
